The renovated cafe at Regional Zoo was designed as a comfortable place to rest, gather, and plan the next part of a visit. Warm materials and large windows connect the indoors with nearby habitats.

Guests will notice wider walkways between tables, flexible seating for families and school groups, and more outlets for charging phones and cameras. The space has been arranged to stay welcoming during busy midday hours while still feeling calm in the morning and late afternoon.

New menu items feature fresh ingredients and a mix of classic favorites and lighter options. Vegetarian and gluten friendly selections are clearly marked, and refillable water stations make it easy to stay hydrated on warm days.

The cafe team worked with the education department to reduce waste throughout the operation. Reusable dishware is now used for most dine in orders, while compostable materials are offered for takeaway items where possible.

Seasonal displays near the ordering area highlight conservation stories connected to coffee, tea, and other ingredients. Guests can learn how everyday choices support sustainable farming and healthy habitats for wildlife.
